Well my birthday has come and gone, it was a relatively good day I suppose. I do not make a big deal of it which sometimes puts a damper on the occasion for others. It used to bother my parents, my mother in particular having little enthusiasm. But I rarely get excited about anything anymore, not to be a bad sport I usually play along with whatever others like to do to celebrate any special events such as birthdays or holidays.

The day went by well, nothing spectacular happened I did have to work which I did not mind at all. My coworkers were very nice I was even given a cake and gift which I appreciated. I will have to post a picture if I can. After work I talked to my parents on the phone for a bit which was nice, and that was pretty much the end of my day.

Moving on to other things now. Next month is my brother's birthday, now my aging to a quarter century (which is what it feels like) is not too special however my brother reaching 21 is. This occasion should be better and more enjoyable. We would like and are planning to make it to Voodoo Fest and I will be purchasing his first handgun for him. That should be fun. Early October there is a gun show which we are going to check out to do some window shopping so he can be certain of what he wants. I am looking forward to it.
