My suspicions have been 99% confirmed, concerning this coworker and her interest in me. Today while at work she approached me and in a quasi-playful manner made an observation of the absence of a wedding band. After which she quickly asked two questions. One about the status of my kids, and two the status of my wife/fiance/girlfriend. I think the motive is painfully clear. After I gave my answer of not having any kids or signifcant others she left. I now loathe the imminent proposal. After this uncomfortable encounter several of the other females working today would give me strange looks as if they all knew, which I am sure they did, of the intentions of this girl whose eye I have somehow caught. I now have to devise a plan to defuse this situation, one which will allow me to in effect reject this girl without anyone holding ill-favor towards me. I just want to work not start any adolescent dramatics. It is a fear that I may not succeed, so I will do my best to prepare for both possibilities.
