Well, I got some interesting responses to that last entry.
So, what are your thoughts on reincarnation and soul mates?
I ask because I have a weird little theory on these two subjects that ties into my last entry.You see, Im of the mind that the soul splits each time it is reincarnated. and these are the soul mates. but you see, i dont think the number of soul mates one can have is limited to just one other person. It could be a different number possibly. At any rate, i think this is why we explore relationships so much, we are in search of our soul mates. so we can complete ourselves? maybe. but possibly its just to better yourself through your relationships with these people. thats why I think it is important to possibly have more than one relationship at any given time. The opportunity may never present itself to be with one person again because your in an exclusive "mini-marriage" with someone else.
and of course none of that makes much sense.
The "American Exile's Best of 2K6" music list is coming along. If you care to read what I think was good this year I'll be posting it on the 15th, a few days before my birthday.

My thoughts on your blog entry---I think I'm more of an existentalist. Whatever happens, happens. . .I know that's not very romantic. I'm sure I've got about 30,000 "soul mates" out there, I just happened to lock on to my first love-got super lucky, I think. So did he though!! I think the possiblity of soul mates is a beautiful idea, I'm just one of those mean people who likes to bring everyone down to a more pragmatic philosophy.
