So my surgery went well, nothing like what they said it would be. I had 2 bad days--they predicted I would have 3 bad weeks. Ive been up and doing stuff just about every day though. Which is good.
Shitty thing though is I still cant eat. Havent eaten anything in 10 days (tried to eat some scrambled eggs today despite trying to go vegan). My throat is so swollen that I cant even swallow my own spit. its gross. I have spit have random spit cups around that house. I went in to get an IV once- 6 bags before I could pee. Im talking almost normal again. I was sounding like greased up deaf guy from family gay until today.
Over all I am pleased with my recovery.
Broke my hand yesterday though, so thats something new and fun lol. there are some fucked up nerves in my hand, and the ligament in my pinky is crushed. I have to have surgery so that Ill be able to use my pinky again (not that big of deal to me, its just a pinky, on my less used hand). The nerves in my hand should eventually fix themselves, but right now they are just confused. Like I think "bend thumb" and my middle finger bends. So they work, just not correctly. If they don't fix themselves in about 6 weeks then Ill need surgery for that too.

Glad you are on the mend, but please stop breaking things on your body. You might want to look into going to see a hand therapist before having surgery. They might be able to help out with some treatment. Keep getting better hun
