Hey there all you rockers..
So, hmm..There was an awesome show on Friday in Lake City, all the good Seattle bands played..Not in the Face, Skarp, Razed, Consumed, and Phalanx. I, however, fucking slept through it all in the van outside because I was so fucking done from hanging out with my buddies from Kansas..fuck it. Monday night there's a show at Grand & Skidmore in Portland, go fucking check it out. I just got a Luddite Clone split, they're a pretty fucking good band. For those of you who like Poison The Well, you should listen to September, and Newborn (fucking rad bands). Other than that, Im being mopey..Im still not sure of how Im getting to Kansas, it looks like I might have to bus it (3 days in a greyhound bus is not exactly my idea of a good time), but whatever, I need to get there so I can hang out with my best friend, Nicolette, the most amazing woman there is. After that I might take a roadtrip, depends on how much my car repairs are going to be. Stupid computers, cars are so much more dependable without them. Oh, another thing to check out is the band Reflux, I heard them today, pretty good, they have a website, I dont remember the url..

Freddy vs. Jason sucked but the original Freddy is still awesome, maybe if I see the remake I might change my mind but given the history of remakes like OMG THIS IS SO THE AWESOME!!!! I doubt it.
If you thought Freddy vs Jason sucked, going out and seeing this remake would definetly be a waste of your time.
As far as remakes good, it was one of the better. I didn't enjoy the "plot twist" of making Freddy into an obvious pedofile, not just a butcher. I also didn't enjoy the actor who played the notorious Freddy Krueger. Robert Englund made the character into what he is today. No one can replace him, even if it is for a new generation.
