Ha!!! Last night I sang karaoke for the first time.. Claudia and I sang 'Independent Women' by Destiny's Child, it was a fucking riot. I should not be allowed to sing, fortunately all my friends were probably too fucking drunk to notice. Another awesome thing is that I've been going running every other day or so, it feels fucking great. It makes me feel not so bad about my tendency to chain smoke. I need to find a practice space for my drum kit, hmm...

I played in bands for years, but somehow Karaoke is way more embarrassing to me. The only time I ever did Karaoke was for a friend's birthday. As a present I did Judas Priest's "you've got another thing coming." Midway through, the screen with the words went out but it didn't even phase me because, you know, it's Judas Priest. When the screen came back I was still right with words and I got an ovation from complete strangers in the bar. Now if they could observe the way I can belt things out in my car, I'd be a star.
