The year is starting slowly.

It all begun with a yearly inventory check at work, which took all Monday.. Then, fortunately I had some time off, that is, until Thurstday. I didn't remember I had to go to work on Friday until at the wee hours of Thursday night, on the way home from my parents.. I'm glad I didn't have to go to work earlier than noon.

So, here I am. Again. Business is quite slow, so i have some time to do my own stuff in the side. I promised to make a katana stand for a guy, who's actually paying me 50 for doing it.. and a new handle/grip on a ritual dagger for a very sweet goth/punk girl.. I think she's a Wicca.. Or a practicing ecclesiast or whatever you want to call it..

My throat is sore, has been for a few days now. I think I'm getting a flu despite stuffing myself with garlic and drinking LOTS of hot tea and stuff.. Well, all I can do is hope it will pass quickly.

I also tried my hand at English poetry, which is something I've not done very often.. A very dear friend of mine seemed in need of kind words and cheering up, so I wrote her a poem. I think it turned out OK. Maybe I should write more.
