No, I also have an iPhone 6. Maybe I still don't understand what the app is supposed to do. It reads to me like I should be able to read thru the app all the notifications that come  to  me. I'm either wrong on the purpose of the app or I don't have that notifications slider set up correctly. I'm told by e-mail when I get a notification and can open the notification from the e-mail. So I still don't understand what further purpose the app provides other than a noise and quick banner at the top of the iPhone screen that I have received a notification.

That is true. I didn't get an alert from the app but from my email.  Seems like a neat concept so hopefully they'll get the kinks out @mrsoul
