I've been gone a long time, and now am in debt up to my knees without too much of a safety net left. 3 months is way too long and I'll try to make a weekly entry in the future but poordom sometimes takes control.
Temping sucks, but I havent really found a decent gig to pay the rent that I can live with so I'm going to have to live this threadbare existence for a while longer.
Good news, I will be moving when my lease expires to cheeper digs in either Inwood or Crown heights. I want to stay in brooklyn, but at my income level I really have to just take whatever I can get in a decent neighborhood.
A question to all you pacific northwest kids, How cheap in the PDX land?? Can you really get an apartment for like $300???
