These last days have been a little edgy, but I did manage to polish off a few bottles of wine and got to speak with some old friends which is always nice.
Going to Jersey tommorow, which is alway a little eerie, God even Penn Station unnerves me just a bit. I was lucky enough only to spend a year of my life in that town, I can't imagine what would have happed had I grown there.
Jersey kids are a bit strange, they live like steps from the kingdom, but most if they somehow manage to escape from there fly off elsewhere. Like LA, of SF or Prague. Maybe its the lifetime of bitter jokes and seething hatred show to them by their brothers to the north, or maybe those places just seem farther or more exotic.
If hell is Los angeles without a Car, I wonder what NJ on foot is?
