ComEd killed the power at work today....for maitnaince reasons. Since my job involes using a computer almost exclusivly, I got to go home...yeah me.
An old friend of mine called me up out of the blue yesterday, and wanted to try and hang out tonight. I thought it was a nice coincidence that I got to leave work early. Of course I can't get ahold of this friend so i'm kind of pissed about that.
Why is it so hard for people to call someone and let them no that plans changed?

ok, so I finally get the phone call. Guess she was stuck at work late. I met up with her at the local Irish chain resturant and we basically both bitched about our jobs and finacial situations. Short of it is that I left feeling like I hadn't helped at all. I hate seeing my friends down, and it just tears me up inside when I can't cheer them up. (Note to my SG friends, if I try cheer you up. Just humor me and become happy)
