I love the holidays, mostly because its a really good excuse to see the family, but something is off this year. I'm not sure what though. Work is going ok, despite the fact that the company will mostly likely be closing eary next year. My mom is planning on coming up with me to WI for the big family gathering, she normally spends it with some family we have in Chicago. My puppy got a clean bill of health from the vet last weekend, well ok she is a bit chubby but not much.

Who am I kidding I know whats off, its the that I shall once again be the odd man out at the family party this year. At least my family doesn't do the the whole, "So when are you going to settle down" and "You should find a nie girl" Still, they do find ways of reminding me about it. Totaly unintention on their part I'm sure. *Warning Excuse Time* Its just that for the last 3-4 months I've been so worried about the job situation and the very real possiblity of having to move out of state. Not a huge market for what I do in the area.

Trust me to take a perfectly good holiday season and get bummed out by something stupid.
