Earlier today I had my first professional/portfolio shoot and I have to say it went very well. The model I had the pleasure of doing the shoot with is not a Suicide Girl, or a Hopeful, but she is still a sexy and classy gal. I can safely say this shoot did help me gain some experience in the sense that it taught me that communication is key to a good shoot. If you want something to look and feel a certain way there has to be some level of understanding between the model and photographer. Fortunately, the model I shot today was very experienced and I'd recommend her to anyone in the Mid-Atlantic region. Below are just a few photos from the shoot. We did a two concept shoot. One was a Venus inspired concept and the other a tribute to De Stijl.
