It is disconcerting to confront the realization, that those things which I once admired in myself, proved ultimately my undoing. The "helpful friend," the "wounded healer," the "white knight," the "kindly sage," the "activist," the "warrior"... traits that though seeming admirable, created no lasting benefit for anyone, and have left me truly alone amongst the hungry dead. Took my journey through The Abyss, to write a book that I thought would bring a light to the world... a book no one wants to read, not even the friends who urged me. Scars on my body... scars on my soul... merit badges of futility. Done now...

I do miss the less superficial/augmented SG too. Sigh. Agreeing with you on the obvious clash between ideals and business concerns going on here .. really saddened and disappointed by it.
I have decided to stay to stand up for my values, SG values, ex values, anyway, they're still mine ! so I'm not leaving the site, if they don't kick me out for being honest and mad at them hopefully... And I don't want to give up. I'm here as a woman with principles before being a model shooting sets, I'm not here for the money but for what makes/made this site different from any nude/soft porn site, v.a.l.u.e.s... So I'm not giving up.
I thank you for sharing your opinion on the matter with me, it was very interesting, and I wanted to thank you from the heart for the very sweet compliments and the support.
I hope all is well for you, what is going on with this book you wrote ? I didn't understand everything but it saddens me. love from Rome x
