but when driving around i see middle and high schools....

If you want an easy way to resize them, try paint. As long as you have windows you should have paint.

Just open the image in paint go to Image on the tool bar and click Stretch/Skew and type in identical percentages into the boxes. That's how I do it when i'm too lazy for photoshop.
