Well the move went fine. My mother's going to be in Wisconsin to receive my stuff for me, and hopefully it should be safe and sound when it gets there. The mover must have a bit of a crush on me, because I gave him my business card and just received an email from him today asking if he could see me before I left. Kind of cute, and pretty surprising. Anyway, today is my last full day in the Northeast. Then I head to Europe for a month, and then fly to the Midwest. I think I'm going to use it going to the Metropolitan Museum. They just installed a new Greek and Roman gallery, and I've been dying to go check it out.

So I'm graduated. Really kind of strange. I dont think its quite hit me yet. It probably won't until August, but I'm still thinking back on how I spent my 4 years. I almost regret being so antisocial, but working full time and taking as many credits as I did made it pretty difficult to hang out with people. I graduated with a 3.86 GPA, and I'm wondering if all my hard work was really worth it. Should I have studied a little bit less and partied a little bit more? Not to say that I didn't party at all, but I certainly could have been a little more social, and its not like anyone will ever look at my GPA again, unless I get my Masters, which I just may do. Overall I think it is worth it, because now I know I have a lot of self control and a lot of drive, which makes me pretty happy. You need both to make something of yourself in the art world.

Now I'm moving to Wisconsin, but I doubt I'll stay there all that long. I tend to be a bit of a rover, but Wisconsin definitely soothes my soul. I got a job out there doing sculpture with glass and metal. I'm going to be doing glassblowing, sandcasting, and welding, and the people Im working for have a full woodshop so I'm going to try and learn how to frame as well. It can't be all that complicated. I'm excited about going back there, and getting a change and a chance to get back in shape (New York and being broke kind of killed my figure). Also, its REALLY going to help my funds, because I won't have to pay rent, just car payments, insurance, and health insurance. I want to try and get a job at the local art school teaching kids, because I love working with them, and it would be fun getting messy with them, but I'm also probably going to try getting a waitressing job, just so I can save up either for my Masters or a house. I would love to be able to buy a house, even though I'm pretty young for it. Anyway, I love you all and can't wait to send pictures from Europe, though it'll be at least a month before I post them. I'm starting off in Paris, and then I want to swing down to Toulouse, Barcelona, and then Italy (I have family there). I'm EXTREMELY excited about it, though its really difficult to move AND take a trip like this. Its a bit stressful. It should be worth it.

Here's something I did for my anatomy class. Its Flux but you can't really tell. Anyway, yea tongue
Here's the link because its probably too big to fit on the page.

Smooches and hugs!

Hey there new BFF! What an exciting life you have ahead of you! Going to Wisconsin from NYC will certainly be a change... but I am sure you will thrive.

Speaking of NYC, what can you tell me about the Bronx? I have a phone interview with Fordham University in a few mins. and know nothing of NY life.
