So I'm finally moving today. I hired movers to drag all my shit down 4 flights of stairs, though knowing me I'll still probably end up carrying half of it down because I hate watching people work when I'm not doing much of anything. But yeah, I was SUPPOSED to be moving out on Wednesday.

I'll tell you why. I had set up an appointment with a different moving company here in the city to move my stuff out on Wednesday at 9AM. Fine. I hd payed the deposit and everything. Well 11AM rolls around and I'm like 'where the fuck are these guys?' So I call the company, and after being put on hold for about half an hour, they tell me they had cancelled my move. I was completely floored because this was SO unexpected, and I told her as much. The girl was a complete bitch to me, saying they had probably called and I had forgotten, to which I replied, "HOW THE FUCK WOULD I FORGET SOMETHING AS IMPORTANT AS THIS?!' So yea, after basically yelling at each other back and forth, I hang up and start to search frantically through my files of other movers that I can afford (thank god I didn't delete them all). Luckily, I called the moving company that's coming today, and they were more than nice to me, extremely accomadating, and they worked out today for the move. Yes, they're an hour late, but they called BEFORE they were supposed to be here to let me know. These guys seem so much more professional than the others. Oh well. I'll be so relieved when this is all over and done with.
Anyway, I made a book. I think I'm going to make a series of books like this about pets. I based this off of my mother's dog, Mitzi. She's really cute, but she's a TOTAL handful. She's a wee little thing, so I made the book small like her. Its an accordian book, meaning that you can pull the whole thing apart like you would an accordian, and its 3"x4". Unfortunately, I gave the good copy to my mother for mother's day so I won't be able to get a really good scan of it for a while, but until then I'll just show some images I shot and scanned of it. Here it is with a spoiler :p
i don't want presents from you. but...i've been thinking about this for a while, and i wonder how you would feel about me commissioning some art from you. i have some things i'd like to have you draw me, so i can have them tattooed on me. i'm dead serious. my bratzilla tattoo is a picture i commissioned from another artist on here, and i kinda of like to use artwork of people whose art i find interesting, exciting, and beautiful.
