So I havent updated in forever. Im still with Dave, and honestly I think I get happier with him by the hour. Its absolute craziness. I just started school last week, and I cannot tell you how excited I am to get through everything. I really want to push myself so taht I make some amazinng work and really grow as an artist in my last year of school. I want to write/illustrate a book on the symbolism and stories behind the flowers that Shakespeare used throughout his plays. They're mostly prevalent in Hamlet, Midsummer Night's Dream, and King Lear, but he used them in all of them, and its really interesting. I made a book about it a couple years ago, but I didnt research as deeply as I could of. Also, I did all of the images in gouache. Now I think I'll do them in etchings, so I can make multiple books. Exciting :-) My apartment is slowly but surely coming together. I have a bedframe now, and a studio desk that I know will really get me through this year. Thanks to Dave, I didnt have to pay 50 bucks for shipping with it, and I cannot say how grateful I am that he's around. I cannot get over how lucky I am to of found him, because he's everything I've ever wanted in a man and more. He understands me, and he understands my crazy passions and my extremely odd sense of humor. He's completely supportive of the paths that I will need to take to be the artist and person I want to be, regardless of whether or not he'll be able to be near me. I cannot believe how selfless he's being about all this, and I am really amazed by how incredible and unique he is as a boyfriend and just a person in general.

So yeah....yay :-P
