So I went to the Wicked Renn Faire in jersey last weekend. Renn faires....indoors...not so good. I didnt come away with a sunburn, and it sort of bothered me. However, I did get to walk around with my buddy dressed as a gypsy. He played his frame drum and I played my doumbek. It was pretty hot. Also, there was a percussionist booth which had a drummer who was absolutely phenomenal. Ive never wanted to hook up with someone so bad in my life (drummers are great with their hands). But anyway, it was fun.
Back to my buddy Daniel's house in his little Mazda Miata, which handles great in the snow now that he's put snow tires on it. Its a pocket sized car, and I love it. We drove through the snow, took the long way home, and then cooked up some delicious Indian food. Wasnt quite as spicey as I like (I wasnt sweating by the end of the meal), but it was still quite yummy.
The next day I got to PLAY IN THE SNOW!!!!! WHEEE!!! I love snow. It makes me so happy. I also got to see one of my old buddies, Kirsten. She's a belly dancer, and one of the sexiest women I know (brains, looks, insane movements of the hips). Yeah....hot.
Now Im working on my thesis. I may or may not post pictures later.
