I am such a science dork. I've spent the afternoon watching astronomy shows, and now i'm watching a show on prehistoric "monsters"...bugs, fish, lizards, etc...
I friggin love this shit. Unfortunately, the science channel is no longer part of our cable package, so I can't watch that all day everyday like I used to... May just be worth the upgrade.
I'm feeling really homesick this week. I miss the creeks, and food, and trees of Austin.. I know Chachi, our dog, would love it there... and our little man would have so much more to do and so many more friends to make back home.. SAD FACE FOR UNBORN MUNSTER!!!
Next week we leave for St Louis for our last "vacation" before we are full blown parents. It's elvis week in Branson, and my dad and his side of the family all work in the music industry there.. So we're planning a big family party to celebrate Elvis with both sides of our families. hahaha Only we would do that...
We're having our first baby shower during our trip as well as celebrating Patricks Dirty 30th... He's super excited about it, and im surprised. hahaha He keeps bringing it up. "ITS MY THIRTIETH! IM JUST SAYIN!!!!"...All his hometown friends are coming, and we're having a big huge BBQ (the way you do it in St louis!!!) and combining his party and the baby shower so people can come celebrate both... FAMILY TIME!!!! grandma and grandpa munster apparently have an entire closet full of baby clothes for little man.. So do we, so I can't wait to see how many times a day this kid changes....just so he can wear all of his clothes! We're going to have plenty of handmedowns for all you pregnant ladies out there with little boys on the way! (you probably don't even realize it yet, or aren't pregnant yet... but we got the clothes for you!)
At our latest check up/ultrasound we verified that he is forming 100% on track, is perfectly healthy, strong and thriving. Hes starting to get chubby. Which we love. He was cute this time!!! Before he's always just been a skeleton. Now he's chubby and is an exact replica (only in miniature form) of what he'll look like at birth.
We got to see a 3d shot of his face (we werent able to get a picture of it) and he looks exactly like Patrick. Same little lips and chin, but he got my cheekbones. So he'll probably have a wider face than Patsy... He's absolutely precious. He looks absolutely perfect. I can't wait to kiss his little mouth!!!!

This is a 3d shot of his arm, and side.. Not really a face shot as its mostly covered by placenta, and shadow.. But theres his little patrick replica arm...
And a profile shot... Unfortunately he was, as usual, nestling into his placenta, and hiding his face so only half his face really made it to the picture... but you can see he's getting chubby!!!
