I swear to god my stomach is a bottomless pit where appetizers, dinner, and dessert still hold no contest to the insatiable desire I have to eat. Granted, I don't eat like that all day long, and have only gained 10 lbs with this pregnancy thus far, but I'm glad this kid likes to eat. He seems to be strong and healthy, kicking up a storm and has been for 2 weeks now, growing increasingly stronger. I think he had hiccups last night. Apparently he's 8 inches from crown to heel now, and about 7 ounces. Seems so big to me....


Well, 18 weeks pregnant now. It's so funny how much things have already changed for us in this house. I encourage patrick to go out with his friends (who are becoming increasingly smaller in number thanks to his lowered tolerance to booze-since im not drinking and tendency to not want to leave me home ever) and he will try... But he ends up having a few drinks, getting all sentimental and wanting to come home. hahaha I thought for sure he would take advantage of this time to have his fun and party it up. But he assures me that he got all that out of his system already and is glad he can focus on us and the baby now. He's such a wonderful husband and friend. I honestly struck gold with him. He does little things everyday to make me happy and comfortable, and reminds me of how beautiful I am and still look to him (since gaining weight is not really one of my favorite pastimes. hahahaha) Sometimes I just lay there and look at him and get all hormonal and overwhelmed with how much we love each other. It's so fucking gay. This kid is gonna rock. He loves music already, and hearing his daddy talking. and hockey! He gets really active and excitable whenever we talk to him, or sing. He loves to be sung to. He loves Steely dan as much as his mama does!
