Well, it's about bloody time for an update I think!

anhoo. What have I been up to... Last monday was not so fun as had the 24hr winter vomiting virus (likened by the local papers to the vomiting in the Exorcist). Hardcore. Not fun in the least. And it came at a really bad time as that was the day i was meant to finish and hand in my essay (yes Mom the one I've been doing forever!) but obviously couldn't do that.
However, I did feel slightly better on tuesday and was able to stagger up to campus for my geophysics practical. But that consited on standing in the rain, then the snow, then the hail, then the rain for two hours while I plotted grid lines in a field and walked up and down with a resistivity meter.
This was also the week of the university's 40th anniversary service in the catherdral. And I had to sing. Day of being sick then singing. Does funny things to your stomach muscles! Still, that went well. It sounded wicked, love singing in the cathedral.
Pete and I have a house! A lovely little one in the centre on Canterbury which we move into in july with Maria (Phd student who's lovely) I'm very excited
Think that's about it other than we had the Oddbins post xmas party last night. 250 tab behind the bar for about 12 people. I got free drunk! Free! Excellent.
Must go and wash the bleach out my hair before it all falls out ! Byeee!

i also got a house this week ... Hawkes Lane, near Castle Street, right in the centre. Can't wait to move off campus!
