You know how some weeks just screw up?
On tuesday my boyfriend's ex returned to the country apparenly pregnant. 'so he's terrified it's his as they broke up 6 months ago.
And then at 4am this morning my best friend's mother got taken into hospital because her kidneys failed, and then she went into respiratory arrest and so is in ICU stuck full of tubes, on a respirator and dialysis. They'd been trying to get her to the hospital for about 2 weeks but she kept refusing, and basically if she hadnt gone in by 11 this morning they were going to admit her as a psych patient. However, when she got into the hospital this morning, they didn't know if she was going to live, and said she would have been dead in 3 or 4 hours if she hadn't got to hospital.
So lots of smiling and un-joy.
On the upside, I exercised again, only ruined it by eating chocolate. Maybe some addictions are meant to be.
