Soooooooooooooooooooooooo.... NYCC was a huge success. I got the weekend off from work, and was able to get in and out of the Con for only around 100$. Bought a few prints for the walls, and a graphic novel or two to add to my stacks 
Got to see some crazy stuff, mostly at the Michael Jackson dace game booth which created a huge bottle neck at one of the two main entrances to the show floor. Good planning that... In any case the first thing I did see while trying to get passed the crowd at the booth was someone in a Pedo Bear outfit on stage dancing along with the game. I can't tell you just how long i was laughing about that. As I was leaving that day, and for some reason choosing to exit the same way, there were 5 Deadpools dancing on stage and kicking some ass at the game. In between, and it took some time, it finally became a real convention when I ran across my first slightly overweight Slave Leia, and then a guy in a Sailor Moon costume. All these things pleased me, of course.
Unfortunately though, i missed out on the 24hr Comic Event (http://www.24hourcomicsday.com) which was held back on the 2nd. Every year it seems that I remember about it a week after it occurs. Sigh....
Well this time around I'm just gunna go ahead and do it on the 26th. From 10am that tues, until 10am wednes i'll be attempting to create/script/draw a 24 page comic within 24 hours. It ought to be interesting as I'm doing my best not to think of any kind of plot for it until then. Plus there's the whole fact that I've not drawn anything in some years... I do plan on spending the time up until the 26th practicing with sketches, so that I won't have to resort to stick figures haha

Haha that is a fair point, though not much has been going on aside from work for me. Guess i'll figure something out to talk about. Was good to see ya at the last event too, hopefully the weather will finally warm up enough for more events soon.
