A girl I adored took her life last April and I just found out about it. Turns out no one really wanted to be the one to tell me.
A friend finally stepped up after I mentioned her in a thank you letter I broadcast to a young adult group she founded three years ago. I was an inaugural member and took over direction of the group just before our first anniversary.
One of her most famous contributions to our group was "Strip- Truth or Dare Jenga". She got plain blocks and then wrote her own truth or dares, it's evolved over the past three years and is still a favorite to break out at our parties.
I suppose I could also mention she was Vegan, an animal activist volunteering hundreds of hours at shelters and farms, and loved hanging out with her brother.
