JAPAN INFORMATIONAL POST
Argh, eaten by the caps monster!!!
Anyway, hello and welcome to this edition of 日本に行く！！ (If you can't read that, you're lame and need Japanese text support. It says 'nihon ni iku' or, I'm going to Japan!)
Who: Yours truly, following closely behind Wallace-san (or Ashley), a short skinny black kid from Chicago, Hanna-san (or Andrew), a tall white kid who's a big jerk half the time but I get along with just fine for some reason even though I'm a friggin weirdo, and Julianne, a smart sassy lady who will probably be my usual American female partner-in-crime. Other characters will include Eric, my favorite pot-smoking hippie buddy who's currently living in somewhere that's not Tokyo but will visit, Torito-san who looks eerily similar to Kurt Cobain some days and is one of those funny dickface type guys, and a handful of other kids that I either will politely decline to hang out with due to an unhealthy obsession with manga/anime, or I just don't know.
What: WE'RE GOING TO JAPAN, BITCHES. Read along with my misadventures as I: embarrass myself by asking inappropriate questions, get lost on the train system, somehow make buying food take 3 hours, and speak a lot of Engrish.
Where: Senshu Daigaku, Kawasaki-shi in Tokyo, Japan. I'll be about 20 minutes away from Shinjuku if that means anything to anybody.
When: September 20th til December 15th. This is sweet for me as my birthday is the week before we leave, so I get to have a Japan party, turn around and have a US party, then celebrate the ridiculous drink-fest that will be Christmas and New Years, AND a one-year anniversary with the caveman monkey skull himself, Davin. I hope.
Why: Cause we gots nothin better to do. Many of my peers are going to vaguely study Japanese and business, I'm going specifically to have a good time.
I will also be visiting (hopefully) the Kyoto and Hiroshima areas on my break at the end of October. Um.. it's a 14-15 hour time difference, so that sucks. It apparently will be daylight during my entire flight there. I just want to sleep.

I like the whole zoo, I really can't pick one part that I like more that the rest. Have fun in Japan.
