Merry Christmas and all that. Or Easter. You know, whatever. I'm an atheist so today is no big deal for me, though my family is traditionally Lutheran. We do all the family-type things and occasionally my mom can manage to drag my sisters to church. (I staunchly refuse on the grounds that it's blasphemous. And I burst into flames when I walk into churches, which kinda sucks.) But this week, my work is silly and said 'oh yeah sure we can run 12 studies'. I was lucky enough to get the day off, but ended up not going back to The Fork anyway because I was possibly going to pick up some hours this morning (I didn't). Instead, I'm going to do some homework that reeeeally needs to be finished, as well as do some getting-ready-to-move things. My mom is superunderstanding and told me to stay here anyway, so all is well in the world.

Think I'm getting a cold. This is no good. Thankfully I'm not alone but I've skipped so much class this semester that I'm not sure I should take a sick day even if I really really need it. Hopefully it's more just from hangin out with smokers and my current roommate being on an incense kick than an actual cold. (I don't know what the deal with the incense is. I like the scent of it, but not 24/7. I think he's trying to cover up the smelliness of the apartment, which would probably be fixed if he would, oh, I don't know, take out the trash sometimes?)

Other than that, really enjoying my new hair coloring. I switched to SFX's atomic pink for my bangs (and did some tips but since I didn't bleach them first, it's fading fast) and it's staying so much longer and brighter than the colour rays ever did. I'm happy with my choice. Plus, it's so much cheaper just to buy the bottle that'll last me probably the rest of the year, than a new box of dye that I only use half of every 2 weeks. The only problem is having to bleach it separately, but my friend Kristin goes purple often so she can help me with that.
