The years are dying, are fading.
The seasons are dying, are blending.
My friends are dying, are killing themselves.
My family is dying, has already died, has been dead.
The wall in front of me is crumbling.
Before my eyes, they evanesce to nothing.


Don't know where that came from. I'm actually in a pretty good mood. I'm going on vacation tomorrow with my family (ugh), but my boyfriend is coming so it won't be so bad. We're going to Nantucket, which I actually like, despite the fact that it is the Mecca of every petty, yacht-owning, martini-drinking, rich snob. If you block out all the preppies, which I have learned to do, it's a very peaceful, beautiful island.
