I feel like one particular choice at work last year has made things absolutely snowball. I thought I was just doing it to ensure I got to travel at all that year, little did I know that it seems to be the key to unlocking all those things I've been anxiously awaiting being able to do in my career. I'll be in Seattle next week,...

Snow. Lots and lots of snow. And cold. I was so excited that the rhododendrons were starting to bloom too.
You know, you can hear a thing a dozen freaking times but sometimes it gets put in a way that everything becomes entirely clear.

Gah, I'm getting sick of snow. What of this beer drinking you might say?

I'm a bad friend. I didn't realize you moved to PA.
I've heard now from 3 different people this weekend, talking about how difficult it is to get other people to accept invites to "do stuff'. Something totally non-specific like "Hey, I'm available to hang out tonight. Wanna do something?" or something like a good friend inviiting you to an important event, like a birthday or something. If it's an "I'm busy, sorry" response, I can...

Happens alot to me, especially with the ladies. I guess sometimes they feel like I'm asking them on a date when in reality I just want to go see a movie or go for a drink. But they run to the hills anyway. *pouts*
dempsey:
very much so.
I'm so happy that I have such good friends. This weekend's been strangely heartwarming that way. Life's feeling like an oak tree again. Strong and protective, showering me with abundant acorns. Some of those little buggers are pelting me in the noggin, but I still understand that they're a gift.

i was actually mid-conversation... I was explaining something (which has slipped my mind now) while she was snapping photos.
I'm feeling right now like I'm trying to give up smoking or something. Twitch, twitch, don't call. Twitch, twitch, stop thinking about that! Twitch, twitch, no more emails. A friend of mine was talking about how his friend quit smoking by harnessing his astounding powers of procrastination. Kinda makes me wish mine were a little better.
I just need to be able to calm down...

Do they have a patch for that?
Also, when will you be here again?

When the pot spider built a hammock. But I was a little suspicious when they didn't go into more detail on the caffeine spider's behavior and just showed him bouncing around in his web.
I learned a new term tonight.
Roadskull.
Not to be confused with Radiskull.
I'd heard of Roadhead...I guess this is like its dirty cousin.
Best quote of the night: "I HAVE THE POWER...OF ROADSKULL!"
I'm never gonna look at skeletor the same way again.

Yeah, eMusic is what music downloading should be. You pay a fixed fee per month and get x number of downloads. The average cost of an album ends up being between 2 and 5 dollars depending on how many tracks. Songs are in MP3 format and I don't know the kbps but it's good quality. The artists are name brand. They let you re-download tracks that you previously purchased. Best of all, there is no DRM. None. ITunes has about 80 percent of the downloading market. eMusic is number 2 at about 16 percent, and everybody else is sharing the rest of the scraps.
You can check them at www.emusic.com. Message me with your desired e-mail and I can get those free tracks out to you, it's no obligation. If you sign up from my referral, I get 50 tracks, but I don't care about that, I already subscribed to a 90 tracks a month plan for 2 years so I've got all the music I can handle.

Which part... the sex or the pot?
Last night was bizarre. Woke up in the wee hours, feeling entirely shivery and gross. Continued to feel gross for a couple of hours, and then it started to go away, and suddenly for the first time in years I started to feel ...peaceful, I guess. Like things were okay and the running dialogue in my head about things to fix or do or what...

Yeah I know. It's just that nobody wants to have events. Shoot it takes about 5 days for anyone to post in PDX anymore. I don't know, maybe if they have a prom this year I'll make that my last SG thing to do and go from there. Hmm?
samling:
aww...
you'd probably be one of the few offers i'd take.
it's so hard. i just feel like most of my friends are going through their own issues, issues i had worked out a long time ago, and i'm just beyond them. my problems mostly center around not enough time in the day and money(lack of).

Well, doesn't look like I'll be ditching the cold in time for NYE. C'est la vie. Something low-key and home-bound actually sounds pretty good for once. Goes well with my overall plan of slowing the eff down this year... before my next world tour that is.
Hope you guys all have a fantastic time tonight, with kisses and craziness added to taste!

So I'm currently reading "Passages". Part of me really wishes I had read this book when I was 19, maybe I could have lived my life more conciously. Realistically, I'd probably have said "I'm a beautiful and unique snowflake, this is not me!" But having gone through a few of these "passages" and seeing others do the same, it's more than a little comforting to...

What a nice holiday. Walked the labyrinth, went to a candlelight service, got some goose, some snuggles, lots of awesome text messages, a beautiful necklace that's actually made me put my acorn on rotation
...I'm in a good place again finally. I've been reading books that are significantly changing my outlook again, yay. Oh and I just sold a chair, gaining both money and space....

no, no live trees out here.. just a few plastic ones, but our ' safety representative' decided to show us the video.. and then he liked it so much he repeated it several times while giggling

Though as cold as it's been up here, I wonder if Haleakala will get a dusting. It does sometimes.
That's so amazing that you're going to be able to do all that travel!
