Not that there's anything wrong with cooling out with Rails (to know it is to love it), but I'm not one to dork out along that particular axis overmuch if it's not going to make me money. Ruby is a tripped out language though, it's actually beautiful. Read Why's Poignant Guide and see a taste of it. I've only read the first couple of chapters, but it's clearly a work of genius (though admittedly a bit twisted).

Man. For a day that started with me waking up at 4AM again, sitting in the dark crying for an hour, then getting up and crying some more... this turned out to be a really awesome day. Suffice it to say I'm feeling a bit less numb now.

Second: really I just like to cuddle that's about it. Having someone just stay there for awhile without anything else going on.
what if you started by going to bars and singing at kareoke where NO ONE is going to know you? and see how you do? because you'll never see those people again, so if you do freeze or struggle with a song, it won't be so bad? work into maybe singing in front of your very trusted friends, who support you no matter what?
i shake when i get in front of people to sing sometimes, even people i've sang in front of a million times. like, visibly knocking knees, arms shaking kind of stuff.
my romance? oh i don't know. to find a guy as cool as Aegir, or Estrada on the inside, except that they'd be attracted to me.
