Spying projects are amazing.
I picked the most awful place filled with the most awful people to evaluate and draw: the mall i will be working in for the next couple months.
I'm relating mall culture to condoning the seven deadly sins. It's all there. And it's right in your face. Also this particular mall is separated into sections. 1st floor is for people with too much money so they wipe their ass with coach bags. 2nd floor is for people with 10 different credit cards and loans to help pay for everything they "own" so they can be like the 1st floor. the 3rd floor is for degenerate kids in Jncos and ICP shirts. It's the most frightening place i could go, minus south street. But south street is totally played out these days. I'd rather depict something in anyone's back yard in the burbs to scare you with.
It's going to be a sweet project. A painting with mixed media maybe. Oh man...that would rock.
