Well Jon got back safely yesterday around 1pm. They made really good time, and even though it was hard driving 13 hours and then staying in Mississippi for only about 40 minutes and then driving 13 hours back home, they made it.
So the WEBN fireworks were last night but we didn't go. We tried to watch them from the top roof of a parking garage but we couldn't see them too well so we decided to go back home and watch them on tv.
I love having a long weekend. I wish all weekends were 3 days long instead of 2.
Tonight we are cooking out chicken on the grill and it smells so good. I love food. I also made brownies for Jon as a welcome home present. They are almost all gone already.
