The one day a year I get to focus on everything I love about my country and pretend like there's nothing wrong with it. And the spoilsports that point out whats wrong with my country can eat shit. Today.

I'm actually not doing much considering I was too sick to go shopping yesterday. The grocery stores in this state can only sell beer and they only sell shit beer. Like there's a tiny spot in each store where there's some bud and some coors. Gross. We also can't light fireworks ourselves. It was the same way in Texas. Also possibly Illinois but Reekie and I just got drunk alllllllll day and had some sparklers and shit. We didn't know the local police well enough to get away with big ones. That and my mom didn't really invite us to the parties. I really truly miss Nebraska every 4th of July.

So I guess today I'll just be doing the same as always. Dad is gonna grill burgers that aren't that great. I might shower and pick up some snacks and some lemonade. But that is about as exciting as my life gets.
