We were lying in bed discussing what this songs mean. Yesterday I had suicidal thoughts. The kind that drift in your head when living doesn't seem worth it anymore, and it feels like you've been struggling for so long.
What for?
I found out the guy who sold me the tattoo machine ripped me off although his wife works with my mom. My desire to do art, or to go to school, or just to live in this world is dwindling down. I don't know why God gave me the gift of art. He seems to drag me along, let me get kicked, let me bleed, and it feels like I've nothing left anymore. At first I thought this song was about a cancer patient. Then he told me it's about the people who are patient. Waiting for some pay off,...they keep telling themselves to be patient. Suicide is the easy option. Ditch the responsibility to your friends and family and take the pills,...relieve your conciousness from this earth. But this song says to wait it out...be patient. I've got a few things to live for. My mom is the main thing. My brothers and sister in law. Also now I have a boyfriend who loves me and I love him in return.
I applied at Dunkin Donuts today. I hope I get the job.
I'm going to start charging whoever I can for the tattoos because I need the money and more motivation to try this. I'm in Chemistry now. I hope I get into the dental hygiene. A good career. Move out of my mom's.
