Have you ever realized that you were sort of hiding a problem, and then when someone pointed it out to you, you realized just how serious the issue was?
Well it seems like I have been trying to hide the fact that an ex-bf/friend/more than just a friend/ has treated me like I was immature and irresponsible for years now...but somehow when my own parents heard him belittle me, it made me really comprehend that there was a definite problem. I kind of got on the defensive, but why should I defend him? Wasn't he the one in the wrong? I guess it was just humiliating to me to have my parents make me aware that I was being too submissive when it comes to the way I let guys treat me. HMMM..maybe I need to toughen up a bit...any suggestions?
I am almost hoping that I wake up sick tomorrow. Work was hell; the phones rang non-stop for 8.5 hours...the rumor mill is still turning...
oh and a word of advice to the female population: don't wear tie-dyed thongs when having a physical exam. The whole time the doctor was making me breathe in and out I swear he was thinking "this girl has tie-dyed thongs on, I wish I could see her ass"...just some words of wisdom
