HEAD FOR THE HILLS!!!!
Not knowing that the possibility of a tsunami would cause everyone to panic and literally head for the hills, I left my normal clothes in my work locker and went off to the arcade on my break. When I got back the store was dark, locked, and deserted. Having nothing better to do, I came home to find all my neighbors clustered outside chattering excitedly in spanish. Reportedly the alert status has been called off, but considering that the town in which I work is very, very flat, on the beach, and almost entirely at sea level, I suspect things will still be a bit chaotic tomorrow.
Whee.
Trivia: Had I not been certain that there was no impressive tsunami wave headed for my workplace I would have gone to the beach and waited for a photo opportunity instead of going home.
