Apparently septum piecings aren't quite as popular as they used to be, because even STTP in Portland doesn't currently have the 14 gauge stainless steel retainer I need mine to be done with in stock. Either that or they're wildly popular and everyone else bought my desired jewelry. Whatever the issue, the result is that I have to wait another week or two before I can get my new shiny.
But good lord is it going to look awesome at my mother's wedding next month. ^_^
Speaking of which, what on earth should I wear to that? Do I buy her a gift? What should I make/buy for my sisters (and my mother's fiance) whose birthdays will be celebrated, along with mine, the day before the wedding?
