Sooooo apparently my local piercing/tattoo shop is phasing out piercings altogether, starting with the more fiddly ones (i.e. septums and anything in the genital bits). Tthis means I have to make an appointment at a shop in Portland and then drive the almost 100 miles from here to there just to get a new shiny in my nose.
Crap.
The upside to this is that I will most likely be going to Straight to the Point, about which I have heard nothing but good things, and that I will make time to do other things I love to do in Portland, like spend far too much time and money in Powell's and eat sushi (the local sort-of-Japanese restaurant doesn't count because it is utter shite). Hell, I may even go to a strip club, although considering that one of the two people who would be with me is still a minor for a bit longer it's a slim possibility. I can live a bit longer without going to a strip club, I suppose. It's not as if they're going anywhere, right?

See, I thought the same thing and then they changed the strip club laws in LA County. But that'll never happen up there, right?
