Oh whoops, has it been 11 days since I last posted? Um.
Yeah, so in keeping with my recent trend of posting only about knitting because the rest of my life has been sucked up by work, here's a couple of things.

You may or may not remember this cardigan that I've been working on for fucking
ever, but even though it's not completely done yet I just had to show it off. Yes, I need to wash and block it and weave in all those fucking loose ends and put some little hook&eye closures on the front edges to hold it closed, but the important part of this project is not the ends or the closure or how well it's blocked, but rather the lace and the ruffles. This is, after all, the Lace and Ruffle Cardigan.
Whatever, next time I post there will be a picture of it completely done and on me.
I'm also apparently on a lace kick and ran out of portable knitting to do for The Cardigan, so I started something new.
That's the inexplicably named Prairie Tunic. You will never see pictures of the first two failed attempts at it because I didn't take any, but trust me when I say it took me 3 tries and quite a bit of math to make up for using yarn and needles that the pattern did not call for. The first two incarnations were, well, they were W-I-D-E. Very much so.
See? The guage always comes back to bite me in the ass.
In other news, I saw Silent Hill and proclaimed it awesome. Is it wrong that I laugh when people get horribly maimed?
