HOKAY! For my-birthday-the-day-after-my-actual-birthday I went and spent some of my birthday money (on yarn, a purple blazer, and some lacy little camisole tops), went to the coolest dinner & a movie place here to eat delicious vegetarian pizza (yes. that's right: pizza. but goddamnit, it had feta and artichoke hearts and sundried tomatoes on it! and was cooked the right way!) and watch In Her Shoes, which was better than I expected. At $3 a ticket I had no complaints. And then, y'know, there was sex.


All in all a good day. ^_^

In pretty much unrelated news, I'm making slow but steady progress on my corset pullover. I've had to rip out a total of half of it thanks to my tendency to become distracted and not pay attention to all of the "at the same time" instructions. I'm so close to being done with the front of it, and I'd be able to finish if I'd just stop fucking it up! Argh. Maybe I'll go work on my baby sister's x-mas gift instead. It's rather mindless and small (read: quickly gratifying) and I'm already halfway done with it after a mere 3 days of knitting.


I also signed up for a craftster swap. Because I'm masochistic or overly ambitious or both.
