Ok it's time to share about my weekend. I needed out of the house badly so Laura (NextTuesday on here) invited me to go with her to her company party. It was fun and the people were awesome. Then there was karaoke afterwards. Needless to say I got to finally act like my silly self and I haven't been able to do that in a long time. It was awesome. But there was my weekend and now for a poem of mine just because I feel like sharing.

Shadows circling 'round
All I want is to be free
Lost but never found
Deep within the shadows of my soul
I reach out to you as the darkness takes it's toll
But you cast me aside
Don't you see the tears I hide
In the darkest corner I could find
All I did was sit and cry
All alone with no one to talk to
Staring into the silence
Dwelling within my dreams
A deep dark and tortured soul
Hiding from the world
