So spent some time with the new future roommate (in 2 days she'll be the roommate) tonight after moving some of my new stuff in and I learned something about her that I never would have guessed.
After we met with a prospective third roommate she told me that she does some stripping to make ends meet. This came a shock to me (although I hid it well, I'm good at that sort of thing). She seemed driven, quiet, and not the stripping stereotype. Life has taught me to not judge a book by its cover and I certainly don't look down on her for it, quite the contrary.
I think it's kind of cool. Cool in a 007, second underground life kind of way. I'm attracted to that, and not in a sexual way. In a way it was a parellel to the way that I feel about the type of life that I lead after 5 pm. It's going to be interesting living with her, and hopefully good things will come of it.
Baltimore is going to be awesome!
