I am extremely unhappy with my current job. I've always told myself that if I got to this point, I would leave because no amount of money is worth me being unhappy over but, I now find myself in that position. I get great pay for what I do and for me to find another job nearing the pay rate I currently get, I'd have to be doing something backed with schooling. So I have a dilemma, should I bail and get a job that pays much less that I can tolerate or should I stick with this shitty job until something better comes along?

If i were you i'd wait untill something better comes along. Working isn't fun but if it pays the bills, in my opinion, that's all that matters. You can figure out why you're unhappy with your job right now and you can talk about it with your boss. Good luck anyways ! :)
