Tegan & Sara rocked! Rarely do I have the cojones to overrule my shyness and talk to performers after a show, but this time I did. It was hard not to, since they were behind the merchandise table on the way out. Aww, they're so cute!
Then I came home and watched The Terminator. Martin Amis in his memoir Experience describes his father watching that movie over and over in his old age. Every time Linda Hamilton was onscreen with her big '80s hairdo, Kingsley Amis would mutter "Get your hair cut." Now I can't watch it without thinking of that. Doesn't diminish the movie any, though.
Fall is upon the Northwest for real now, and that means homemade soups and stews. Time to go make dinner!
