Where the hell is my sister? She went to New York a week ago to visit a friend and she still hasn't come back. She said that she would only be gone for 2 weeks... Well, I guess I've kind of answered my own question there haven't I. I would like it very much if she would come home now.
She called me just before she left. She woke me up to tell me she was going now. I told her to be careful and to stay with her friend and listen to her friend because her friend knows more about the city... Oh, and did I mention that she was supposed to be careful? I went into full big brother mode. She Throws me a handful of 'yes's. "And one more thing," I said, "Come home." I told her that I didn't want to have to go all the way over New York to drag her ass back to Portland, but I will.
There's a tiny part of me that wants her to try and stay there just so I have an excuse to go. Get a small nest egg, just enough for 2 tickets to New York, go over grab my little brother by the scruff of his neck and say, "We have to go save our sister!!" Then we would hop on the plane and go track her down. It would be such a grand adventure.
I want my sister to come home now. So if anyone in New York sees my sister tell her that she's missed and that she gone to far, the joke's over, come home.
