Well, despite the wishes of Arete, my weekend is turning out to be fairly terrible...

I was on IM talking to a friend in California who used to go to my church. We were on a Committee to find a new youth pastor together and it turns out that this week, about three and a half years after Bill (the guy we hired) started out our church, he has resigned due to the fact that he is under investigation for passive involvement in Child Pornography... Furthermore, he's caused great distress to a certain female who was the subject of my previous journal entries, who really trusted him. And that Makes me even more angry...How could someone do such a thing to their family, community and fellow "men of the cloth"?

This is also not the first trouble we've had at our church either, in the past ten years we've had two youth leaders forced out for various reasons, a pastor who was forced to leave for sexual harassment, and a music minster who broke in and vandalized the church to cover up his financial mis-appropriation, and a whole slew of other problems...I'm begining to suspect a plot more foul afoot.
