Natalie laid the betsey johnson dresses on her hotpink canopy princess bed. She had rainbow pillows and a wirly white bed frame. Her walls were painted a neon green the color of candy on acid. She was going to the ball with Fae and needed, not just wanted, to look like a princess. Her mother had picked 3 dresses for her to choose from. One was a light pink color with ruffles like a little elegant birthday cake. One was a jasmine hued ball gown with rhinestones on the bodice. Last but not least she held up a light blue cinderella gown that was sure to floor the crowd. She looked them over with great detail, and decided on the elgegant cake dress. ''Now for the shoes!'' she cried out with joy. Now for the shoes. What a lovely phrase indeed. She had to make a harsh descision! Would she choose the hotpink pumps with the lace wrap around, the white doll heels, or the yellow flats. Choices were a hard thing, they really were. She decided the hotpink pumps would give her a wirl. Just as she was slipping her naked body into the flirty dress, fae called her limegreen cellphone. ''Hey beautiful'' fae whispered into the phone. ''......Why are you whispering?'' Natalie asked, as if fae was insane. ''It just feels more mysterious....'' Fae said this time a loud, clear, deviant voice that could shake the walls. ''I'll pick you up at 7:00 m' dear'' Fae said, just as she saw Camille and Lacey pull into the drive way in their yellow car. Fae gasped into the phone, dropped it and mouthed ''help''. Fae usually stayed up in the wee hours of the night waiting to speak with Natalie, and now she just hangs up? This was...absurd. It was crucial. It was a nightmare! Natalie decided to stay in for the day, forget the real world, you know get lost in her weed and horror movies. She noticed a package of sweetheart candies from last valentines day...fae's last gift to her. She was dancing in front of a crowd that wasn't really there. She did a twirl in the air, and stumbled upon Camille's dollar tree faery wand.
