Wow, I've discovered a new and interesting way to procrastinate. I love this site. Bettina is my hero. My friend, Absinthe, and I were looking at the SG hardcover book and I couldn't tear my eyes away from her picture. I've always loved old pin-up stuff and I'm overjoyed that someone is still keeping its spirit alive and well. Some of the girls are such classic beauties, I feel humbled.
Other than my new procrastination tool, I've been reading Same Difference and Other Stories by Derek Kirkkim and dressing up in outfits inspired by SG. Daydreaming has been occupying much of my thoughts this morning, wishing that I might join the SG ranks. All I can do is try. I can't find my swipecard that magically allows me to eat and get into buildings on campus, so it's like I'm grounded. I'd wander around and bug people in their rooms, but everyone here sleeps so amazingly late that I don't want to bug them. Oh well, there's always the afternoon to look forward to.
