I hate cell phones in general, it's the socially acceptable leash that just about everyone wears! People can and do track each other with them. They are handy and I have one so I can be reached for work in case of a big emergency and a recall. Bugs me how much people text instead of talk on them though and it seems fewer and fewer people are on their phones all day but talk less than 15 minutes if that. I still haven't got a smart phone and am considering finally maybe getting one when I get to Japan. As to quitting smoking you may want to grab some of the gum to help you out, and just get the stuff with less and less nicotine over the next few weeks. Regular gum or something to stick in your mouth like toothpicks may help a little too.
