So last night been up late connecting with my heritage. No not jerkng off! Hahaha I was watching action chinese movies and action chinese movies means? Of course there is rice but what I'm talking about is kung fu! Goddamn! I miss kung fu I remember growing up watching Jackie Chan, check out his drunken boxing movies, and Bruce 'water' Lee. Why water? Say it in a high pitched voice emphasizing on the A and T, instead of "er" use "ah". Go ahead ask Bruce Lee what he wants to drink.
Right now chinese kung fu movies are kung fu on a whole nother level, bringing those old kung fu novels to life. Real moves and CGI, DAYUM!!! Yes I have to admit that some moves are ridiculous, running on air, killing with music but hey, HEY! Do a little bit of research on what goes into kung fu and possibilities of these ridiculous moves happening might not seem that untrue.
A week back I tried doing a little bit of qi gong, I must say that I actually enjoyed it. Really felt in the moment as if I was a real master, a small guilty pleasure haha. Seriously though if you really focused on what you are doing you can literally feel your chi moving. Anyways here's the link to them free movies you can stream online. No there isn't any Ching Chong Chang, bet that tiny racist in your head has said that at least once when you read chinese movies hahaha don't worry we all have a tiny racist bastard.
Speaking bout being racist, a friend told me recently that I am what they call "East meets West" when asked for a reason he said that it is because I have the qualities of an Asian being, humble, honoring the family and etc, and at time i can be really obnoxious like a westerner. You might be thinking, Hey! Not everyone is like that! Well do understand that I am coming from a neutral position, I don't judge. However people in asia still have strong stands about the asian way of living and they way we are seen as asians are that we are uptight. Cause we don't know what do the west call fun. Now try to understand the views from an Asian's, from the east, perspective and now bring the views from the west. Put them together and you'll get me or something like me. Bet you thought I was going to go into a lecture about culture didn't you? hahaha Ching Chong Chang? hahaha
My sleep cycle is not that bad yet. However I feel like I come alive especially at night, right after 12, when every one is asleep. There is something about the peace and quiet that I like, where the world around me has slowed down and I get to spend heaps of alone time. It is nice ^^ Then again who wouldn't want to be a vampire, not the Twilight kind but those from Underworld and TrueBlood or Being Human, its the immortality that I love, cause I do not have to worry about how much time i have left, and not the sucking hahaha Well, I'm not much of a a fan of the sun either but was thinking is the moon to the vampire like the sun to us? Cause they can't take direct sunlight and the light from the moon is from the sun, therefore they would feel the heat from the light of the moon which is from the sun. Plus point is I get to wear victorian gothic outfits :D
Been great coming back here, knowing that friends are safe and heaps of new faces! Wow! Anyways I havent made a vlog in who knows when! Should I make one? Questions? Cause nothing exciting has been going on around here so... yeh... We'll see.
